Well... Day 1 is officially in the books. We have almost fifty students (less than anticipated) and seventeen adults. The number is very conducive for effective teaching and developing relationships. This evening we played kickball with the students and discovered that the concept of baseball hasn't really caught on in China.
The food is good and everyone is doing well. The end of the day is always welcomed for some R & R and some good old fashioned laundry by hand. Jet lag is a thing of the past. The entire team says, "Hi!" to our friends and families back home. Don't forget to always keep us in your thoughts each day.
