Hello from China!
It is early Thursday morning here, and we have just today and tomorrow left of English Camp at the Kindergarten in Fang Shan. On Saturday we will work on cleaning the rooms where we have been staying. We will also finish up an outdoor landscaping project the team has been working on for the orphanage. Sunday we will go to an International Fellowship, and finish the day out with some shopping. Monday morning we'll put on a closing ceremony for the Kindergarten English Camp, and then head back to Beijing and prepare to leave on Tuesday.
I should give an update on two of our young women. Alyssa S. and Kelsey H. were planning on traveling with two families this week. On Monday morning, when the two families came to pick them up, we found out that what they really had in mind was to have Alyssa and Kelsey babysit the two girls in their apartment while the parents went off to work all week. Of course we would not allow that to happen, so as a compromise, the two girls are coming here every morning, and we have four of our staff, including Alyssa and Kelsey, helping them work on their English and playing games with them.
Everyone is healthy and in good spirits, but a little anxious to get back home! Keep thinking about us!
